Our Vision

Westwood Robotics is an extracurricular STEM program focused on transforming our culture to inspire students to pursue science and technology careers.


  • Created in 2008 as Team 2478 competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition.  The team successfully completed the 2008 and 2009 seasons and then went dormant.
  • Reborn in 2013 for the 2014 season by five students with a desire to bring robotics to the underserved population of Westwood High School.

    • Winner (allied with 60 Bionic Bulldogs and 1828 Boxer Bots) AIA State Robotics Championships

    • Winner (allied with 2485 WAR Lords and 987 The High Rollers) Las Vegas Regional
